The cannabis revolution: implications for society, by Prof David Nutt

The Royal College of Psychiatrists have released the video of professor Nutt’s lecture as reported on last week. The whole lecture is worth hearing but for those who are short of time the beginning talks about the social history of cannabis and its subsequent prohibition for the first half an hour. It then moves into the comparative harms of Cannabis compared to other drugs (see 41:52 for a chart showing alcohol as the most harmful for society) before finishing with the medical uses of cannabis and a the arguments for a regulated market.
